The serious and pale rosé 2022 Redoma Rosé was produced with a field blend from higher altitude and grapes with less color (Tinta Francisca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Amarela). It was fermented almost as a white, from direct pressing, looking for the onion skin color, and it was kept with the lees in 500-liter barrels where it fermented with full malolactic. It’s a dry, serious and gastronomical rosé with 12.4% alcohol, the roundness of the year and a super tasty finish. It’s approachable but should also age. 10,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in April 2023.
